CAMMO AIR GUN

Do It Yourself.... if you dare.

The Editor Takes Some Hobby Spray To His Trusty HW90.

Me holding my trusty weapon.I've had my HW90-K some time now. Sometimes I use it if I want a totally independant rifle which needs no pump, no air bottle and no gas. Another advantage is that the Gas Ram rarely loses any pressure, even if left cocked for extremely long periods; susch as when waiting two hours for a Coney to come out of its burrow! This gun, although quite heavy, I can use with absolute ease and find I am quite accurate with this gun.It is zeroed in at just twenty-eight yards, but with little hold over I have had bunnies out at fifty yards with no problems, clean kills one and all.

The only problem I have with the rifle is its colours. The shiney blacked metalwork and the reflective coated brown stock stand out like a sore thumb when you are stalking the hedgerow.

After doing a report for AT on a beautifully painted Daystate PH6 I decided that enough was enough. It was a tough decision to make, you have to be confident, but the decision was to paint the gun. The only question was, "How?".
